A leading manufacturing client of Cherry Bekaert is seeking a Staff Accountant (Inventory & Accounts Coordinator)to join its growing operations and finance team. This role is key to maintaining accurate inventory records managing bills of materials and supporting financial processes including accounts receivable and purchase order receiving.
Responsibilities
Manage raw material WIP and finished goods inventory
Conduct cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies
Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs)
Receive and inspect incoming materials match to purchase orders
Generate customer invoices and monitor payment status
Analyze inventory and production costs using advanced Excel tools
Support internal audits and month-end close processes
Qualifications
Associate or Bachelors degree in Accounting Supply Chain or related field
Recent experience in manufacturing inventory or accounting
Proficiency in Sage 100 preferred and Excel (pivot tables VLOOKUP macros)
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Preferred: APICS CPIM or related certifications
