The Sr. Manager Strategy & Planning will: (i) support the regional business planning process ongoing planning activities strategy development; and (ii) identify evaluate develop new go-to-market strategies focusing on opportunities to grow LATAM business organically.
This role will report to the Area Leader VP of Strategy and Planning and will align with her to execute area priorities and business projects. Based on this alignment and direction this person will manage the team strategy team and will work tightly with the LATAM executive leadership team to help plan and develop long-term goals and short-term objectives. He/ she will support the execution of regional business plans and key initiatives track competition and identify threats and opportunities and report progress and analyzes issues that affect productivity profitability and growth.
Strategy and Planning:
Design facilitate and manage the strategic planning process in line with the regional objectives. Drive the pre- and post-meeting work involved for all planning sessions. Continually assess cross-industry best practices new business models and techniques to enhance current International and regional planning practices. Integrate creativity into strategy formulation and execution. Execute ad hoc strategic analysis for the leadership team. Gather competitive intelligence on an ongoing basis monitor strategy and predict competitive response for key competitors. Partner with Finance to integrate business planning and financial planning into a seamless planning process for the regions. This would include establishing linkages between the portfolio management budgeting and planning processes. Integrate the impact of strategic and tactical plans on the P&L and associated budgets. Align and synchronize management accountability reporting between this function and Finance.
Research and Analysis:
Lead primary and secondary research and analysis to inform market entry/market expansion opportunities. Translates these insights into material for senior TransUnion stakeholders.
Organic Initiatives:
Build trusted relationships with product and industry experts and other key decision- makers to gather insights and develop actionable go-to-market plans. Support business case development for new opportunities and partner with the regional teams and global knowledge experts to facilitate and enable import/export of global IP. Support the execution of the regional business plan and track and report current year progress. Facilitate best practice and knowledge transfer where appropriate.
This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.TransUnion Job Title
