Job Description

ROLE: Marketing and Communications Manager

LOCATION: Bangkok Thailand

CONTRACT TERM: 2 Years with options for extensions

SALARY RANGE: THB 751680 per annum*.

*Depending on experience. Portion of annual compensation is variable andperformance-based.



ABOUT THE JUMP! FOUNDATION:

JUMP! Foundation is a non-profit organization that believes in inspiring empowering and engaging youth through collaborative and innovative experiential learning programs. JUMP! offers a series of leadership activities suited for students at international schools and universities including in-school workshops (JUMP! Schools programs) and outdoor adventure trips (JUMP! Experiences programs). We facilitate participants to develop personal community and inter-community leadership skills. To help realize our vision for a world in which young people fulfil their true potential JUMP! donates a proportion of its revenue to support experiential youth-focused development projects around the world.


      OUR VISION FOR THIS ROLE:

      We want the world to know about how JUMP inspires empowers and engages young people. We are looking for a Marketing and Communications Manager to make this happen. This person will be a self-starter results-driven and confident in building brand recognition through captivating an audience. JUMPs Marketing and Communications manager will be able to develop and deliver creative marketing and communication strategies to help connect JUMPs vision and mission with the world. Success will be measured by an increase interested from schools organizations and individuals to partner with JUMP.       KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

      The Marketing and Communications manager will have competence and flexibility in a variety of responsibilities including but not limited to:

      • Effectively articulate JUMPs vision mission and value proposition in marketing materials
      • Overall Brand Development and recognition
      • Evaluating developing and implementing new processes to enhance JUMP!s marketing strategy
      • Oversight of visual content and graphic design for marketing
      • Oversight of website management and enhancement
      • Oversight of JUMP!s social media output; strategy and publishing on Facebook Twitter Instagram Blog Website and other outlets as agreed with JUMP!
      • Photo/Media Management
      • Helping to identify and implement effective media management tools
      • Organizing JUMPs various media content
      • Assisting in conducting market research on our audience members including international schools international educators development partners and the general public as it relates to JUMP!
      • Generating leads and opportunities for partnerships
      • Representing the organization at conferences and professional networking environments.


      REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

      • 5 years of job experiences in Marketing and Communications or relevant areas
      • Proficient in Thai and English
      • Strong graphic design skills (Canva Adobe Illustrator)
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills (Thai and English)
      • Knowledgeable in Wordpress
      • Team management experience
      • Attentive to detail organized and able to multi-task
      • Proficiency in G Suite
      • Comfortable with a dynamic & flexible work schedule
      • Familiarity with the International Schools and Thai Public School systems


      REPORTS TO: Head of Growth and Innovation



      CHILD SAFEGUARDING

      Applicants are expected to comply with the JUMP! Foundations Child Protection Policy. This includes:

      • Signing a personal declaration stating any criminal convictions including spent convictions.
      • Providing the name and contact information of three references (at least two professional) they have known for no less than two years excluding family members. These references must be included within the application form.

      Successful candidates will be expected to comply with the following as a condition of employment:

      • Both acceptance of and commitment to our Child Protection Policy and Code of Conduct for working with children.
      • Submit a formal background check before employment gained from the candidates home country or more most recent country of residence. Withholding a criminal record will be grounds for immediate termination.
