Our client is Thailands brewery established over 80 years ago is a privately owned company that has become a well-known producer of beer and beverages.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with internal teams (e.g. brand asset management) to ensure a clear understanding of contract benefits and alignment with brand guidelines.
- Conducting comprehensive research (both primary and secondary) to collect data for merchandise development ensuring optimal usage.
- Regularly analyzing market trends providing strategic insights to senior leadership on merchandise trends usage patterns and value propositions.
- Designing and developing a range of merchandise items working closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment with contractual obligations and brand strategy.
- Planning managing and executing the annual merchandise development strategy including budgeting scheduling and resource allocation.
- Identifying sourcing and negotiating with suppliers (domestic and international) to secure high-quality merchandise that maximizes value.
- Overseeing and managing merchandise inventory to ensure efficient stock levels and minimize waste.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree.
- 6-10 years of experience in merchandising with additional experience in marketing or brand management considered a plus.
- Proven expertise in developing sourcing strategies for premium products particularly in the souvenir or alcohol industry.
- Strong creative mindset with a demonstrated ability to build and manage successful partnerships.
- Excellent negotiation skills and proficiency in English both written and verbal communication.
