We RentoMojo were founded by IITM alums and serial entrepreneurs who worked out of almost every major city in India in his first five years of corporate career. Frustrated with the hassles of relocating from one place to the other and tired of finding that perfect cluster of home essentials that suited their lifestyle.

The spending youth especially the millennials & Gen Zs prefer staying light desire flexibility and are value conscious. RentoMojo caters to the needs of the working professionals which is unmet due to nonavailability of furnished rental flats by offering furniture and appliances on rental basis thus providing more flexibility than owning the expensive furniture and appliances.

Currently we have 100000 subscribers with a typical rental period of 12-14 months. The current market size (as per a recent report by Grant Thornton) is estimated to be US$ 4.1 Billion and expected to grow to US$ 13 Billion by 2025.

With 700 people operations the company has a presence in 16 cities across India. Looking back Rentomojo has not only made a new market of lease which never existed for the consumer they have also become market leaders in the consumer rental industry. Unlike the norm they are now seeing a reverse trend wherein a version of ours is being copied in the US and UK. We are also profitable at monthly PAT since Oct 2021.

Role: Product Manager - Growth

Location: Bangalore

Reports to: VP - Product & Engineering

Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and analytical Product Manager to join our growing team and lead growth initiatives for our e-commerce this exciting role you will be responsible for developing and executing data-driven strategies to acquire new customers increase user engagement and drive sustainable revenue growth across all our product touchpoints.

Responsibilities:

  • Growth Strategy & Analysis:

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy aligned with the overall business objectives.

    • Analyze user behavior data to identify growth opportunities across the customer journey (acquisition activation retention referral). Good understanding of tools such as Clevertap Appsflyer Google Analytics etc to understand user behavior and segmentation

    • Conduct A/B testing user research/feedback/surveys and other experimentation methodologies to optimize product features and user experiences for growth.

    • Track and measure key growth metrics (e.g. customer acquisition cost (CAC) customer lifetime value (CLTV) conversion rates retention rates) and report on progress towards goals.

  • User Acquisition & Retention:

    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns.

    • Improve user acquisition by optimizing product features content and personalization strategies.

    • Develop and implement product features that drive user retention and encourage repeat purchases.

    • Create targeted automated email and push notification campaigns to nurture leads and re-engage existing customers.

    • Analyze user churn and identify areas for improvement to reduce customer churn.

  • Product Roadmap & Prioritization:

    • Work cross-functionally with product design engineering and marketing teams to prioritize product features and initiatives based on their growth potential.

    • Develop and manage the product roadmap with a focus on growth initiatives.

    • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in e-commerce growth.

    • Continuously identify and test new growth opportunities.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making:

    • Leverage data analytics tools and platforms to extract insights and inform growth strategies.

    • Work closely with the data science team to develop and implement data-driven experiments.

    • Communicate complex data insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Qualifications:

  • Btech in any stream /MBA preferred

  • 3-5 years of experience in product management growth marketing or a related field.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful growth strategies.

  • Strong understanding of e-commerce user acquisition retention and growth principles.

  • Experience with user behavior analytics A/B testing and data-driven decision making.

  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.

  • Strong communication collaboration and project management skills.

  • Passion for e-commerce and a deep understanding of the current market landscape.
