Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Analyst to join our Hub24 Data Platform team. The ideal candidate will possess strong SQL skills and a solid background in finance wealth investment or accounting domains. This role requires a proactive solution-driven individual who thrives in an innovative environment and is eager to learn and grow.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with software and data engineers to develop and enhance data products APIs and data transformation projects.
Conduct detailed data analysis to support business decision-making and strategy.
Utilize Agile methodologies including Scrum to manage and deliver projects efficiently.
Work with tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO) and Jira for project tracking and management.
Provide accurate project estimations and manage project timelines effectively.
Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose innovative solutions.
Ensure data integrity and quality across all data platforms and products.
Leverage Databricks for advanced data processing and analytics.
Lead large-scale transformation projects including the migration of SQL Server data pipelines to Databricks transformation of legacy reporting and modernization of legacy data processing to scalable cloud solutions.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Business Analyst in finance wealth investment or accounting domains.
Strong SQL skills for data querying and manipulation.
Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies including Scrum.
Proficiency in using ADO and Jira for project management.
Experience working closely with software and data engineers.
Familiarity with cloud-based environments and data platforms.
Experience in projects involving API development data products data analysis and data transformations.
Innovative thinker with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to gather and document clear requirements that both business and technology teams can interpret.
Proven experience in leading large-scale transformation projects including the migration of SQL Server data pipelines to Databricks and the transformation of legacy systems to scalable cloud solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Databricks for data analytics and processing.
Background in working within an innovative and fast-paced environment.
Ability to propose multiple solution options and drive decision-making
