Key responsibilities
- Implement the global People Strategy at the local level aligned with regional and business goals
- Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for leaders and their teams on all people-related matters
- Lead the delivery of the annual HR cycle including performance management compensation reviews succession planning and talent development
- Provide guidance and resolution on employee relations issues ensuring alignment with company policies and local regulations
- Monitor and apply changes in local labor laws to ensure ongoing compliance
- Act as a talent broker to facilitate internal mobility and development opportunities across teams and regions
- Collaborate closely with the regional people team to manage daily HR operations and resolve complex HR cases
- Analyze real-time HR data to generate insights identify improvement opportunities and drive data-informed decisions
- Design and deliver training sessions and workshops for local leaders and employees on various HR topics

What we are looking for
- 5 years of experience as an HR generalist and solid understanding of HR fundamentals including recruitment people performance management employee engagement compensation development employee relations
- Passionate about the business and partnering with and supporting leaders to deliver on business results
- Advanced knowledge of labor law; experience from working in unionized environments would be beneficial
- Experiencefrom large international organizations and strong ability to build relationships and navigate a complex stakeholder matrix
- Good change management facilitation and coaching skills
- Be able to take ownership and act autonomously while also adopting acollaborativeworkingstyle fostering cooperation and teamwork to find solutions
- Flexibility and adaptability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- Resilience: the change process is anything but straightforward; accepting uncertainty and bouncing back from setbacks while keeping your enthusiasm is a tall order but we need it
- Be self-driven energetic and have a can-do mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Japanese and English.
