The Regional IT Manager will oversee the IT infrastructure and service operations within the Americas region. This includes about 13 locations with approximately 1900 users. Ensuring seamless integration and support of IT systems in alignment with Business and Corporate IT strategy standards and architecture. Managing regional IT services including local Service Desk onsite support and desktop services to maintain high service standards.

The Role (daily responsibilities):
Strategic Alignment: Ensure that IT strategies and initiatives are aligned with corporate objectives and regional business needs.
Project Oversight: Manage and coordinate IT projects across the region ensuring adherence to timelines budgets and corporate standards.
IT Support and Service Desk: Drive the full adoption of the IT Service Desk across all sites and continuously improve SOPs and services.
Maintain the BCRP for all computer systems and infrastructure for all sites in the Region. This involves maintaining BCRP documentation and managing the execution of the annual BCRP DR test plans. And leading the recovery efforts when a Disaster is declared.
Audit Support: Support internal audit activities during preparation and execution.
Cost Management: Oversee IT-related costs at a regional level identify cost-saving opportunities and manage budgets and capital plans effectively.
Security Compliance: Ensure regional compliance with Corporate IT Security Policies and Standards collaborating with Corporate IT to address vulnerabilities.
PCN and R&D Lab Support: Ensure IT support for PNC areas in plants and R&D lab environments in accordance with the agreed RACI. Adhere to the S0180 standard and ensure systems are patched and meeting the BCRP requirements.
The Candidate (requirements):
Leadership Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in managing IT teams preferably in a regional or multi-site role.
Technical Expertise: At least 7 years experience in an information technology role with a focus on IT operations and infrastructure in a complex multi-layered environment.
Project Management: Demonstrated experience in project management including planning resource allocation and budget control.
Communication Skills: Strong communication skills for interacting with department managers site leadership and corporate IT personnel.
Soft Skills: Structured and Attention to Detail are a must.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
