Job Description

RN Supervisor Long Term Care (Contract Role)
  • Location: Oswego NY 13126
  • Shift: 12-hr Nights 7pm-7:00am
  • Duration: 8 weeks
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
  • Weekly Pay: $2232 - $2376; (Negotiable based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and support nursing staff during night shifts
  • Oversee patient care plans and ensure adherence to standards of care
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and clinical issues
  • Coordinate with physicians families and interdisciplinary teams
  • Monitor and ensure proper documentation and compliance with facility protocols
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to staff
  • Conduct rounds to assess resident conditions and facility operations
Qualifications:
  • Active New York State RN License Required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) Required
  • Medical/Surgical and Gerontology experience Preferred
  • Current CPR Certification Required
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently during night shifts and manage clinical situations
