Job Description
Job Title: SDET Consultant
Job Location: Pittsburgh PA
Job Type: Contract
Job Description:
- Collaborating with the development team to understand how development changes affect ongoing Automation efforts
- Designing and developing test automation scripts for software and systems to ensure product quality
- Developing and maintaining automated test scripts to reduce repetitive manual testing
- Executing and evaluating software test cases in order to locate potential software issues
- Identifying isolating and tracking bugs throughout testing
- Reporting bugs to the software development team and providing input to resolve these issues
- Ensuring that test plans and scripts are followed and that quality standards are met
- Participating in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements product designs schedules or potential problems
- Creating detailed comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
