Job Summary
The University of Hong Kong (HKU) is pleased to invite outstanding scholars to contribute to our thriving research agenda as well as to Hong Kongs leading position in the region and beyond.
We will recruit 100 outstanding academics in emerging fields with potential for scientific and scholarly breakthroughsabove and beyond our existing recruitment programmeto join HKU as assistant associate or full professors on tenure-track or with direct tenure.
This is an open-discipline call. The strategic recruitment areas in the Faculty of Science are: Geometry Algebra Number Theory Optimization Scientific Computing and Data Science; Quantum Matter Information and Optics Photonics; AI in Chemistry Chemical Biology Natural Product Chemistry Physical and Analytical Chemistry Energy and Catalysis Computational Chemistry Ultrafast and Single Molecule Spectroscopy; Molecular and Cellular Biology in Biomedicine Plants and Microbes; Environmental DNA Ecology and Evolutionary Biology of Global Change Marine Biology Microbial Ecology; Ecogenomics; Remote Sensing of Ecosystems Solid Earth and Earth History; Global Change and Environmental Science; Urban/Applied Geosciences; Planetary Science and Astrophysics.
