You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailFull-time/Part-time Senior Research Assistant / Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref.: 532776) (to commence as soon as possible with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)
For the Research Assistant I/II applicants should at least possess a Masters degree in Social Sciences Statistics Social Work Sociology Psychology Criminology or related disciplines with at least one-year post-graduate research with interest in the topics of family and mental health are preferred. They should be competent in advanced quantitative analysis (e.g. SEM multi-level modelling factor analysis) and experienced in using statistical software (e.g. STATA SPSS and R).They should also have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese); a strong sense of responsibility; excellent organizational and interpersonal skill; ability to work independently and as a team and to collaborate with external with strong research experience may be considered for appointment as Senior Research Assistant.
The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator in managing research projects and be responsible for literature review data collection data analysis preparation of presentations drafting proposal and reports supervision of junior research staffs and performing any other duties as appointee will have ample opportunities to work with scholars experts psychologists social workers multidisciplinary professionals and other stakeholders in the local and international community. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview.
