Job Description
JOB TITLE: Accountant
JOB LOCATION:Abuja (FCT)
ADVERTISEMENT
JOB DETAILS:
- Prepare analyze and maintain financial records specific to manufacturing including cost accounting and inventory management.
- Manage the general ledger including reconciling accounts and managing monthly quarterly and annual close processes.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable for raw materials equipment and vendor payments.
- Monitor and report on production costs variances and budgeting for manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate with operations and production teams to ensure accurate inventory valuation and cost allocation.
- Assist with financial audits ensuring accuracy in records related to production and inventory.
- Generate regular financial reports for management to support decision-making and monitor profitability.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and regulatory standards particularly those relevant to manufacturing.
Qualifications
- BSc or HND in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g. ICAN ACCA) is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years experience in accounting with a background in manufacturing or industrial settings preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting inventory management and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. SAP QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with production teams and manage deadlines.
Salary
N150000 monthly.
