Job Summary

Job Title:* Accounts & Finance Officer*
Location: Kano Kano State
Salary: 150000 Gross (Negotiable based on experience & qualifications)
Preferred Candidate: Female

ICAN certification in progress toward it is an added advantage.

Role Overview:

We’re hiring a skilled Accounts & Finance Officer to manage day-to-day financial operations ensure compliance and support budgeting and reporting. This role requires a proactive detail-oriented individual with solid accounting experience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries
• Reconcile accounts bank statements and expense reports
• Process payroll and ensure tax compliance (VAT income tax etc.)
• Handle data entry into accounting software and update the Arable Tracker
• Assist in budgeting forecasting and financial reporting
• Support internal/external audits with proper documentation
• Process vendor payments and manage operational expenses
• Recommend process improvements and support accounting system upgrades
• Liaise with vendors clients and internal teams (Procurement HR Ops)

Requirements:
• Education: BSc/HND in Accounting Finance or related field
• Experience: 3–5 years in a similar role

Skills:
• Proficiency in accounting tools (Sage Odoo QuickBooks Xero SAP)
• Strong Excel and ERP system skills
• Excellent attention to detail communication and problem-solving
