TeHerenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a Pkenga/ Pkenga Matua Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Academic Development to join our Te Ktuinga Mtauranga - Centre for Academic Development team. The role provides support to faculties in their academic work particularly in regard to the faculties programmes of learning and teaching and in the development of the capabilities of faculty staff to undertake those programmes.
In this role you will work collaboratively with members the wider team to ensure the success of Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellingtons academic work by undertaking a range of responsibilities including:

You will be a highly organised self-starter and natural relationship builder who relishes working autonomously as well as contributing positively to a high performing team. Your work with academics and professional staff will draw on your prior experience with university teaching and academic work in previous roles. You will need effective time management and forward planning to balance meeting deadlines and engaging effectively with users across the University environment.
