Job Description
KITE Search are working with one of the most recognised names in Hong Kong with an impressive history and a diverse real estate portfolio that includes residential hospitality leisure commercial and retail assets. We are currently looking for a Hong Kong based highly experienced Executive Leader of Sustainability to oversee their ESG and Sustainability function across Hong Kong covering their multiple asset classes and businesses.
This is a true leadership position that will see you oversee and manage the sustainability department with responsibility for the P&L and strategic direction.
Responsibilities:
- Leadership and oversight of the sustainability senior management team
- Oversee the department budget OPEX and CAPEX
- Ensure project and environmental governance across diverse real estate assets in HK and Mainland China
- Management of varying technical staff and experts
Requirements:
- A masters degree in Environmental Science or Engineering
- 15 years experience within Sustainability / ESG
- Carbon Auditor / Green Building Practitioner (BEAM Plus/LEED/China 3-Star) is advantageous
- Excellent understanding of Environmental Management systems and standards (ISO4001 etc)
- Knowledge of local government services and environmental consultancy services
- ability to scope and manage technical environmental consultants
- Proven knowledge of sustainability reporting (including GRI IIRC and HKEX ESG standards)
