As they embark on a transformative journey to revolutionize our manufacturing processes they are seeking a visionary CTO to enhance manufacturing capabilities and positioning our company as a leader in the industry.
About the role
Reporting to the CEO you will lead the technological transformation of the manufacturing operations by identifying implementing and scaling AI-driven solutions to optimize production enhance efficiency and reduce costs. The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking leader with a proven track record of leveraging cutting-edge technologies to drive innovation and operational excellence in will champion the adoption of AI machine learning IoT and other advanced technologies to boost automation and efficiency while staying ahead of emerging trends to maintain a competitive edge. Collaborating with cross-functional teams you will identify opportunities for AI and automation to deliver impactful improvements. Additionally you will foster a culture of innovation establish and manage an R&D function for proprietary solutions and partner with external providers startups and academic institutions to stay at the forefront of technological advancements.
The successful applicant
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in technology leadership roles preferably within the manufacturing industry
- Leading Change - A natural change agent that can identify what is needed to drive technology success and is not afraid to implement
- Proven track record of implementing AI machine learning and automation technologies in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience in driving large-scale digital transformation projects.
- Deep understanding of AI IoT robotics and data analytics will be an advantage
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes supply chain management and lean principles
- Good command in Chinese and English
