Job Description
Were looking for an outstanding experienced Forklift Service Manager.
The primary purpose of this role is to manage our team and contractors responsible for repairs and maintenance of our Auckland based hire and lease forklift machinery fleet of around 500 machines. The successful applicant will need to control daily service department operations through ensuring our policies procedures and customers service standards are consistently met and exceeded.
Focus will also need to be placed on efficient utilization and leadership of all technical staff and workshop resources while maintaining a safe and productive work environment along with ensuring maintenance of all hire/lease assets to meet requirements as required.
We are looking for a qualified forklift technician with relevant experience in materials handling or heavy machinery industries. Business management experience would be an advantage and proven effective staff management and leadership abilities are essential.
Skills needed:
Qualified forklift mechanic
Excellent communication
Outstanding customer relationship abilities
Expert technical knowledge of a range of forklifts
Sound understanding of computer programs and systems
Attributes needed:

Possess a strong work ethic and high personal standards
