Research Assistant ()
The Academy is currently seeking a part-time Research Assistant to support an RGC-funded research project on Hong Kong art and heritage based in the Department of History.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct library and digital research;
- Assist in conducting fieldwork;
- Collect and process data including photocopying scanning and compiling materials; and
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- A major in Visual Arts Art History History or Cultural Studies is preferred (fresh graduates are welcome);
- Knowledge of Hong Kong history art and heritage spatial history and digital tools will be an advantage;
- Familiarity with academic research skills; and
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
The initial appointment will be on a part-time basis; re-appointment (onapart-time or full-time basis) thereafter will be subject to performance review mutual agreement and availability of funding.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
