The Opportunity

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for solving complex business problems EY-Parthenon Strategy is looking for a Strategy Consultant with 2 years of experience to join our growing strategy practice as a Business Analyst or Associate in Sydney or Melbourne.

• Work alongside high-performing teams in a boutique-style environment backed by EYs global network.
• Support our clients to solve their most pressing challenges.
• Contribute to projects that shape corporate direction resolve commercial issues and create lasting value.

As a Strategy Consultant youll:

• Partner with senior executives across leading companies and government to tackle their most critical strategic questions and shape their organisations future direction
• Work in small high-involvement teams with direct Partner exposure contributing to problem definition and owning important workstreams
• Use fact-based data-driven analysis to extract insights then synthesise them into clear actionable recommendations.
• Gain broad exposure across industries and public/private sectors without being pigeon-holed on engagements in Australia and internationally.
• Develop fast through our hands-on collaborative approach to work supported by our structured training and development program.

This is a hybrid position based in either Warrang Sydney or Naarm Melbourne. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.

Skills and attributes for success

• 2 years of experience in strategy consulting business analysis or corporate finance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively engage senior-level audiences.
• Ability to create clear crisp persuasive presentation materials.
• A team player who thrives in fast-paced dynamic environments.
• Curiosity and an ideas-intensive mindset that values insight over convention

Ideally youll also have:

• Experience in managing project teams and running strategy engagements.
• Familiarity with tools such as Excel PowerPoint and data visualization platforms.
• Humility and a growth mindsetalways learning open to feedback and invested in your personal development
