Plan and draft test plan conduct rigorous test with system engineers to make sure fulfilment of software requirement
Design and maintain comprehensive test cases for autonomous software modules collaborating closely with software development teams.
Validate software feature code pull requests and branches ensuring they meet quality benchmarks before testing.
Conduct software testing to validate new features and access overall system level integration performance on Automated Prime Movers (APMs).
Develop and maintain the testing infrastructure to ensure efficient validation processes.
Write and present detailed test reports ensuring alignment with company quality standards.
Document and track defects using Jira and Zephyr working collaboratively to resolve issues promptly.
Ensure the compatibility of new features across diverse client environments without disrupting existing systems.
Leading & training team members and stakeholders on effective testing processes and tools.
Education: Master/bachelors degree in computer science Engineering Robotics or related fields.
Experience:
5 years in validation engineering ideally in the autonomous vehicle or robotics industry.
Strong proficiency in Jira Zephyr and the Atlassian suite of tools.
Extensive experience with Linux and Docker environments.
Technical Knowledge:
Expertise in the Robot Operating System (ROS).
Familiarity with software validation pipelines in a CI/CD framework.
Scripting skills (Python Bash) to automate testing tasks.
Problem-Solving: Proven ability to analyze complex technical challenges and develop solutions.
Hands-on experience in real-world robotics deployment.
Proficiency in sensor calibration and integration.
Proficiency in C programming language
Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and software-in-the-loop (SIL) testing.
Familiarity with ISO standards including ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) or ISO 21448 (Safety of the Intended Functionality).
