As a Presales Service Management Solution Specialist at IFS you will serve as a key member of the Solution Consulting team helping prospective customers understand how IFSs Service Management solution can transform their service operations. You will combine deep product expertise with business process knowledge to demonstrate how IFS delivers exceptional value across the service lifecyclefrom intelligent scheduling and mobile workforce management to parts logistics and service contract execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for IFS Service Management during the presales cycle.
- Lead discovery workshops to gather client requirements and understand service delivery challenges.
- Deliver compelling solution demonstrations and tailored presentations to business and technical stakeholders.
- Translate customer pain points into business-driven solution value aligning with IFSs Moment of Service messaging.
- Collaborate closely with Sales Product Management R&D and Implementation teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Develop Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs) or solution prototypes to address complex service scenarios.
- Respond to RFIs/RFPs with high-quality compelling content.
- Represent IFS at industry events trade shows and webinars advocating Service Management solutions thought leadership.
- Provide feedback to Product Management on customer needs and industry trends to help shape the Service Management roadmap.
Qualifications :
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in Field Service Management Asset Management either in presales solution consulting or implementation.
- Strong knowledge of Service Management business processes: service planning scheduling optimization mobile workforce spare parts logistics warranty/service contracts depot repair etc.
- Experience with enterprise FSM / EAM / PSO software solutions (IFS Oracle SAP Salesforce Field Service ServiceMax etc.).
- Excellent communication presentation and storytelling skills to engage C-level and operational stakeholders.
- Ability to lead discovery sessions and influence stakeholders with confidence and credibility.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Business IT or related field.
- Fluent in English and Native level in Japanese.
- Willingness to travel up to 40% as required.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in IFS FSM / EAM / PSO / POKA or IFS Cloud platform is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with related modules such as Asset Management ERP CRM EAM or IoT integrations.
- Background in industries such as Aerospace & Defense Telecommunications Utilities or Industrial Manufacturing.
