Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused IT Customer Support specialist fluent in Japanese to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and excellent communication skills in Japanese and English. This role will involve providing technical support to Japanese-speaking customers and collaborating with internal teams to resolve IT-related issues.

Responsibilities

  • Providing technical support and assistance to Japanese-speaking customers via phone email and chat.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving IT-related issues including hardware software and network problems.
  • Assisting with installation configuration and maintenance of IT systems and applications.
  • Collaborating with other IT support teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Creating and maintaining documentation and knowledge base articles for common IT issues.
  • Assisting with testing and quality assurance for new IT products and services.
  • Providing training and guidance to Japanese-speaking customers on IT tools and systems.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in Japanese and English both written and verbal.
  • Proven experience in IT customer support or technical support roles.
  • Having experience in helpdesk IT support (PC Server etc.) and network troubleshooting (LAN WAN) is better but acceptable if the candidate knows the basics of PC and network.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-focused attitude and commitment to delivering high-quality support.
  • Relevant IT certifications or technical training is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a diverse and inclusive team.
