You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailApplications are invited from outstanding early career researchers for the position of Research Assistant Professor in the Division of Humanities at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
We seek to appoint a Research Assistant Professor to build research capacity in Chinese Philosophy. For more information about the research areas of the Division of Humanities please visit will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term 2-year contract renewable subject to performance funding availability and mutual agreement. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract. Fringe benefits include annual leave medical and dental benefits. Housing allowance may be provided where applicable.
The starting date of the position should be no later than 1 September 2025.
Applicants should have a PhD with a focus on the study of Chinese philosophy. They should have a strong publication record and the potential to develop successful grant proposals. The appointee is also expected to write grant proposals and develop collaborations within and beyond the School of Humanities and Social Science.
