Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Listen to the recorded dictation of a doctor
- Interpret and transcribe the dictation into patient history exam notes operative reports referral letters discharge summaries and other documents
- Review and edit drafts prepared by speech recognition software making sure that the transcription is correct complete and consistent in style
- Translate medical abbreviations and jargon into the appropriate long form
- Identify inconsistencies errors and missing information within a report that could compromise patient care
- Follow patient confidentiality guidelines and legal documentation requirements
- Perform quality improvement audits
Requirements:
- Freshers and school leavers are also encouraged to apply
- Should be able to Work at office.
- Fair knowledge in Bio Science will be an added advantage
- Should be able to understand and interpret advanced medical terminology and vocabulary
- Accurate and fast typing skills
- Proficiency in MS office
- Proficient in spelling grammar and syntax. Common errors can have significant consequences in a medical environment.
- Accuracy and excellent writing skills are valuable in this role.
