Job Summary
We are looking for open-minded self-driven undergraduates in Accounting and Finance to join our dynamic R&D Finance team in Colombo. This entry-level role provides an excellent opportunity for aspiring accounting professionals to gain hands-on experience and launch their careers at the intersection of finance and technology.
As a Trainee Finance Product Specialist you will be involved in interpreting and analyzing business requirements contributing to the development of robust enterprise-grade software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the design development and maintenance of software applications under the mentorship of senior Product Specialists.
Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirements analysis functional design testing documentation and support.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into effective software solutions.
Keep up to date with the latest industry trends tools and technologies relevant to software development.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by contributing to the enhancement of processes and methodologies.
Qualifications :
We are seeking candidates who demonstrate the following qualifications and attributes:
Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Accounting Finance Management or a related professional qualification.
Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills with the ability to interpret complex information.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to articulate ideas clearly and collaborate effectively.
A proactive mindset with a positive results-oriented attitude.
Ability to thrive in a globally distributed team environment.
Willingness and ability to work on-site at our office in Colombo Sri Lanka.
