Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to manage exam operations in Malaysia ensuring customer service quality exam integrity and compliance standards are maintained. The role is responsible for efficient capacity and cost management smooth test day delivery and guiding team members to meet operational and service standards.
Role Accountabilities
This role is responsible for overseeing exam operations to ensure efficient service delivery adherence to compliance standards and high levels of customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include implementing standard procedures planning and managing resources coordinating logistics resolving complex operational issues and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders. The role also involves monitoring risk and compliance conducting financial and operational analysis managing costs and resources effectively and leading the operations team by providing guidance motivation and development to achieve performance and service delivery objectives.
Role specific skills knowledge and experience
The ideal candidate will have experience in planning and delivering operations in a fast-paced environment at a management level with experience managing small teams or demonstrating strong management potential. They should have a proven track record in driving change and ensuring the successful adoption of new ways of working. Experience in an exams environment and leading the delivery of computer-based exams is desirable.
Further Information
Language: Strong English proficiency is crucial for this role requiring fluency in both written and spoken communication to effectively navigate British Council systems and international operations.
Qualification : Relevant experience in overseeing the production of goods or provision of services or a university degree in any discipline or an equivalent relevant qualification.
