Job Description
We are currently seeking mid-senior employment lawyers to join us and work with our Fortune 500 clients:
Responsibilities:
- Providing legal support to global HR functions and advising on employment related legal matters
- Provide subject matter legal advice on employment law matters across APAC including but not limited to employee relations workplace policies terminations and compliance with labor laws.
- Take a lead role in managing external counsels
- Draft review and negotiate employment contracts severance agreements and other employment-related documents.
- Conduct legal research and stay up to date with changes in employment laws and regulations.
- Develop and deliver training programs on employment law topics for HR teams and management.
- Provide support to senior management and participate in strategic planning for improvement
- Assist in the resolution of employment disputes including handling grievances mediations and representing the company in employment-related litigation.
- Collaborate with HR and management to develop and implement effective workplace policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance on best practices for employee performance management disciplinary actions and workplace investigations.
- Support the companys diversity and inclusion initiatives by ensuring compliance with equal employment opportunity laws.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Qualified lawyer with ideally minimum of 3- years of experience in employment law preferably from corporates/financial institutions or law firms.
- Strong knowledge of employment law within APAC region.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear and concise legal advice to non-legal stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Track record of working cross-functionally to achieve company goals while showcasing prioritization skills.
