What youll be doing as a legal tech consultant

As a Legal Tech Consultant in our Starters Academy youll dive into the world of digital investigations and forensic evidence. Youll work on high-profile cases - think major fraud investigations cartel probes or corruption scandals. Your mission To uncover the smoking gun - that one critical document or email that can turn the tide of a case.

Your work begins at the source: securing digital data. Youll confiscate laptops smartphones and other devices then extract and collect relevant information. Using advanced software and your own technical skills youll investigate this data to uncover what really happened. Youll quickly learn how to search filter and analyze millions of files to pinpoint the key information that lawyers or businesses are looking for.

But youre more than a digital detective. When a client is hit by a cyberattack or data breach- like the one that affected Maastricht University - youre ready to jump in. Youll track how the hackers got in what data was compromised and where the urgent risks crisis situations when entire companies are brought to a standstill youre the one who brings clarity to the chaos.

Besides these exciting client assignments youll also contribute to internal initiatives that drive your personal and professional development. At Forcyd youll get the opportunity to grow at lightning speed in a field thats constantly evolving.

The Starters Academy

When you join us youll kick off with a four-week bootcamp designed to fully prepare you for your role. No dry theory- just immersive training hands-on experience and deep dives into digital evidence legal technology and forensic data analysis.

After this high-impact start youll continue your development in our two-year growth program designed specifically for (young) professionals. Together with your training group youll take part in coaching peer learning and workshops focused on personal and professional skills. You wont just become an expert in your field youll become a confident professional who makes a real impact.

Who are we looking for

You have a study background in law criminology cybersecurity or any other relevant study;

0-3 years of work experience;

You have an interest in and affinity for data analytics and IT but also Law and forensic science;

Because we often work with sensitive information it is important that you have integrity tactical and environmental awareness;

You are an expert in processing a lot of information and you like to work in a problem-solving way;

You are analytically strong and work accurately;

You are fluent in English and Dutch / German/ French.

A full-time contract for two years: we are looking forward to a nice cooperation!

A competitive salary of 3.30000 per month (including vacation allowance and a 13th month)
