As Central Product Integration Engineering (CPIE) Transfer Engineer at Micron you will be responsible for overseeing technology transfer projects in the manufacturing Fabs and driving SWAT & Best Known Method (BKM) deployment activities.
In this position you will interact with Process Integration Manufacturing Operations teams and Leadership across the factory network.
Specific responsibilities include but not limited to:
Support key transfers in the operations network and ensure adequate resources available for successful execution of the projects.
Work closely with R&D and manufacturing teams to implement and improve the transfer business process. Utilize process metrics to drive this.
Drive SWAT meetings and activities generated from the meeting including POC assessment and defining BKMs.
Create and deploy the necessary training required to effect Best Known Methods in technology transfer.
Ensure fab systems support technology transfer into an existing production line with minimum disruption to manufacturing.
Support capital planning activity for new technology node/product introduction.
Provide an effective check of feed-forward elements such as yield cost and cycle time
Travel for transfer activities as required for business purposes.
Requirements:
Must
Bachelor degree or relevant experience
English communication skill
Desirable
Japanese communication skill
5 years of relevant experience
