Investment Services Private Markets

We manage deal structuring due diligence and closing. We provide financial operations to GICs private equity infrastructure and real estate assets as well as tax structuring corporate holding structures valuations and financial reporting.

Investment Finance & Controllers (IF&C)

The Investment Finance & Controllers Team is responsible for deal finance advisory including buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence portfolio control treasury and cash management valuations investment operations investment and portfolio accounting financial reporting and special purpose vehicle management for GICs private investments.

What impact can you make in this role

You will be part of a team that is an integrated investment service team that partners the business in providing services to support private markets investment.

We are seeking an Associate to focus on investment operations. The role works closely with internal and external stakeholders to support finance operations throughout the investments life cycle.

What will you do as an Associate

• Perform deal activities throughout the investment life cycle such as setting up investment structures bank accounts provision of KYC documents funding process for investment funding (capital calls loan drawdowns etc)
• Update the relevant data and transactions in the accounting and management system
• Complete month-end/year-end closing activities including the update of market values using external financial information for the fund and direct investments
• Preparing accounting reconciliations review of investment holding company accounts and liaison with external auditors
• Corporate secretarial work relating to investment holding companies

What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role

• Bachelor in Accounting Finance or relevant disciplines
• At least 2years relevant accounting work experience in the finance accounting or private equity industry
• Self-starter who is detail oriented very organized and pro-active in executing responsibilities
• Demonstrate a strong risk attitude
• Demonstrated ability to multitask manage and complete multiple priorities on time with minimal direction
• Displays high intellectual curiosity and innovative mindset
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
