Job Description
Were looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Manager & Content Creator to join our team and help brands shine online. This position is for a Canadian company offering the chance to work with international clients while enjoying the flexibility of a remote role.
In this role youll work directly with clients to bring their brand voices to life across multiple platforms. From planning and creating engaging content to managing client relationships youll be the go-to person ensuring consistency creativity and impact.
What Youll Do
- Create plan and manage content calendars across social platforms (Instagram Facebook TikTok etc.).
- Coordinate with the graphic designer and provide guidance for visual assets.
- Edit short videos and images when needed (basic cuts text music effects via Canva or similar tools).
- Ensure alignment with each clients brand voice and tone.
- Share content with clients gather feedback and make timely adjustments.
- Manage direct communication and interactions with clients.
- Occasionally support with light digital marketing tasks (e.g. boosting posts with small budgets).
- Track content performance and propose creative strategies to improve results.
Requirements
- Degree in Digital Marketing Communication Advertising or a related field.
- 2 years of proven experience as a Social Media Manager.
- Certifications in social media digital marketing or similar (a plus).
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Strong creativity to develop engaging and fresh content ideas.
- Hands-on experience with editing tools (Canva or similar).
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with clients.
- Organized reliable and able to self-manage multiple tasks.
Bonus Points if you have:
- Experience running paid campaigns on Instagram/Facebook.
- Familiarity with tools like Later Notion or Buffer.
- A good eye for branding aesthetics and storytelling.
