Job Description
It is a truly exciting time to join us here at GKN Automotive in Hungary. We built a brand new manufacturing facility on the outskirts of Miskolc in 2023 which includes assembly and office accommodation. Our Miskolc facility is a key regional facility for the driveline technologies that GKN Automotive supply to our global customer base. We employ hundreds of colleagues from the local community and will continue to develop the site over time.
We Are Looking for a Planning Master Material Planner in the Automotive Industry
Do your plans always go according to schedule Are you great at organizing materials the way the best mechanic knows every detail of an engine If so we have the perfect challenge for you!
Your tasks:
- Developing and implementing material plans that work like a precise system in a well-oiled engine.
- Monitoring inventory and coordinating deliveries so production never hits a dead stop.
- Cooperating with suppliers carriers quality departments logistics and production after all synchronization is key!
- Analyzing data optimizing processes and finding solutions that will accelerate our production.
What we expect:
- Experience in a similar role you want to operate at full throttle.
- Knowledge of the automotive industry you just feel the rhythm.
- Strong management and organizational skills after all not everyone can be a planning master!
- Analytical abilities that allow you to predict the future (at least when it comes to materials).
- Knowledge of ERP tools (were happy to teach you how to use our ERP - QAD) and MS Office no room for mistakes in numbers!
