Material Handler
Pay: $15.00
Location: West Tulsa
Shift: Monday Friday 6:00 AM 2:30 PM (Some Saturdays for OT)
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Position Overview
We are currently hiring a Material Handler to support overall material flow within a manufacturing environment. The Material Handler will play a key role in assisting with shipping receiving packaging and inventory tasks to help maximize production efficiency and maintain workplace safety.
Required Experience & Skills
- Ability to verify materials and shipping documents accurately
- Basic understanding of inventory control and documentation practices
- Organized and detail-oriented with strong communication skills
- Comfortable lifting moving and working with various materials
- Ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Must be able to work some Saturdays for overtime as needed
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with shipping documentation and ensure inbound materials match purchasing records
- Verify stencil markings on finished parts and cross-check with shipping documents
- Maintain organized and accurate documentation and records
- Track and trace ship loose items with QC and Production departments
- Assist in preparation and packaging for field installation kits
- Support material pick-ups and deliveries as needed
- Help enforce and maintain workplace safety standards
- Assist with month-end inventory as a dedicated Material Handler
- Perform other duties as assigned
Preferred Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
