Material Planner/SchedulerJob Description Summary
Responsible for scheduling and managing customer shipments monitoring production and controlling the procurement of raw materialEnsures raw materials are maintained at optimal levels to cover manufacturing while achieving inventory targetsEnsure manufacturing maintains a smooth production plan with a steady flow of materialsInteract and manage relationships with trading partnersProcess supplier forecasts to ensure alignment with production planning and forecastingJob Description
Manage customer weekly and daily ship requirements and window times; communicate with production and shipping departments. Proactively react to changes.
Responsible to track raw material replenishment to ensure production coverage
Utilize reports to support daily and weekly operations
Help coordinate and communicate daily production build requirements to satisfy customer demand and maintain inventory targets
Review and maintain supplier forecasts on a weekly basis; maintain cums
Communicate proactively with trading partners
Expedite inbound and outbound material by identifying problems and resolutions
Regularly maintain pull loop size based on PFEP recommendations
Monitor and update the PFEP collection plans for accuracy
Proactively elevate critical supply issues to management
Proactively elevate critical delivery issues to management
Utilize the supplier scorecard and troubleshoot poor performing suppliers; work closely to improve supplier performance
Utilize the supplier scorecard to initiate internal operational improvements
Maintain inventory targets while continuing smooth operations
Responsible to follow safe practices
All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Education
International relation IE or similar degree
