At Worley in Wellington were expanding our team and currently hiring Project Engineers and Associate Project Engineers.

What youll do
The role responsibilities include:
Make independent decisions based on established guidelines taking into account the cost and schedule impact to the project.
Daily administration of project and/or Worley policies and processes in order for the projects team to meet business objectives.
Work with self-initiated interaction with supervisor and self-initiated technical guidance.
Apply knowledge of all aspects of project engineering to oversee successful technical coordination.
Maintains HSE focus within the team to ensure HSE requirements are included in design and procurement.
Set clear objectives for the project team including scope schedule productivity and budget targets.
Ensures projects are delivered at or below the approved budget and that proper change control processes are understood and used by the project team.
Ensures Worley approved systems processes & tools are deployed and complied with on the project.
Identify potential technical risks and effectively develops risk mitigation contingency and resolution plans.
What youll have
A University degree or equivalent in engineering or equivalent experience with professional registration in local jurisdiction.
Previous engineering experience.
Competent in Microsoft Outlook Word Excel Teams and PowerPoint.
Can organise information from many sources and retain as per the prescribed format and policies.
Understanding of project budgets project resource plans and earned value tracking.
Understanding of project schedules and resource plan requirements for technical aspects of the project.
The ability to clearly and professionally communicate with project stakeholders and project teams.
A positive and respectful attitude that fosters collaboration and teamwork to ensure the successful outcome of projects.
