Project Manager (AI Lab) (2-Year Contract)

Prudential is seeking a highly skilled AI Project Manager to oversee and manage AI projects within the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and managing resources working with cross-department stakeholders and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

Project Management

• Direct and manage project development from inception to completion adhering to project risk compliance and government frameworks.

• Manage project scope goals and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with business solutions teams and stakeholders.

• Develop comprehensive project plans track and monitor milestones and ensure timely delivery.

• Proactively manage changes in project scope identify potential risks and implement contingency plans.

• Track and log project team timesheets accurately.

• Ensure project implementation and resource costs are charged correctly following LBU guidelines.

• Conduct project post-mortems create implementation reports and compile recommendations and lessons learned.

Stakeholder & People Management

• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner.

• Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.

• Set and manage project expectations with team members and stakeholders continuously.

• Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.

Skills Required

• Proven experience in managing AI or IT projects with an understanding of AI technologies and trends.

• Strong project management skills including planning resource allocation and risk management.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to adapt to changing project requirements.

• Experience in conducting project post-mortems and implementing lessons learned.

• Leadership skills to coach and motivate team members and manage project teams effectively.

• Familiarity with government and compliance frameworks related to project management.
