While S/4HANA will start from FEMS it will roll out to other ASM sites subsequently. The Project Management Specialist should also play a key role in these roll-outs to ensure that local requirements will be adequately captured and all sites will swiftly adopt the global business process.
The Project Management Specialist will be part of S/4HANA business transformation team and report to Global Business Global Manager.
The role of the Project Management Specialist involves mainly:
- Work closelywiththe S/4HANA Project Program Director PMO members OCM membersvendors business and IT team senior managementsponsorand executives
- Manage complex project/s throughout the global enterprise leading project team members in the design development and delivery of technology and business solutions
- Build schedules establish communication plans manage risks/issues and measure or report project results
- Facilitate creative efforts to resolve issues and develop quality deliverables to achieve corporate objectives
- Partner with stakeholders and teams to prioritize project requirements and issue resolutions to ensure successful delivery of project scope
- Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including key-users cross functional departments external consultants and key stakeholders.
- Lead project team members located in multiple countries
- Work in close collaboration with global PMO to ensure projects execution follows and adhere to ASM project delivery methodology (IT-PLC).
- Supports global PMO to develop the Project Management (people process templates etc) capabilities in ASM.
- Educating business users on best practices employed globally within the industry
- Eliminating difficulties users face in their daily routine of operations
- Review update and approve to-be business processes in alignment with the companys culture environment requirements and processes
- Challenge status quo by offering pragmatic and efficient processes
- Monitor and measure performance effectiveness and efficiency of specific core business processes
- Identifying documenting and testing new business and exceptional scenarios
- Leading a successful project implementation with a high level of satisfaction and acceptance across all levels of stakeholders
- Achieving business benefits
- This role requires more than 30% time of international travel based on project needs and timelines
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum Bachelors degree in business management supply chain management or information system or information technology with Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience from a business consulting or IT Consulting environment
- Minimum 3 cycles of end-to-end project management experience in SAP ECC or S/4HANA
- Experience in Project Management in business transformational IT project such as SAP ERP implementation
- Experience in managing change at all levels of the organization
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to articulate all aspects and views of problem and solution
- Ability to compare as-is and to-be to identify gaps and any additional business needs
- Ability to prioritize changes based on values change impact and risks to achieve the overall business objectives
- Flexibility to adapt a workaround solution into a business process and to close the loop with a long term solution
- Strong analytical and communication skills including the ability to gather user requirements and identify potential solutions.
- Strong ability to collaborate closely with multiple functional and business teams in developing agreed controlled yet flexible business process.
- Strong ability to interact both in written and verbal forms.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and technically challenging environment.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
