Job Description

Our Outbound (OB) Manager at a Sort Center is responsible for all budgetary people development and operational objectives.
The Site Leader oversees all aspects of operations and functions at the site.
Key responsibilities include managing and leading a team of sub-area managers; coaching and mentoring them to meet performance objectives; fostering positive employee relations; and developing leadership talent within the Sort Center.

Additionally the role ensures effective stakeholder management across Delivery Stations Fulfillment Centers Safety Loss Prevention and Middle Mile teams.

Key job responsibilities
Drives creation of quality initiatives process improvement initiatives and other Lean initiatives to enable their functional area and ultimately the Sort Center (SC) to meet and exceed the business plan;
Responsible for the overall safety quality performance and customer experience of Inbound Processing or Outbound operations;
Sets and clarifies requirements and expectations for Operations and Area Managers; measures performance provides feedback and holds Operations Managers accountable for their own performance and the performance of their departments;
Leverages Operations and Area Managers by sourcing and nurturing ideas rolling them into improvement plans for the functional area;
Takes proactive steps to ensure best practices are shared across all departments shifts and the network;
Works closely with support staff (HR Finance Facilities Safety IT and other Senior Operations Managers) to build and secure support and resources for projects and initiatives in their area as well as providing needed support and resources for other staff initiatives.

- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area including weekends nights and/or holidays
- Strong and relevant people and shop floor operations background;
- English knowledge for communication oral and written

- Bachelors degree in business engineering operations supply chain transportation logistics
