Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
General
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
At least 10 years of experience relevant for the position
At least 4 years of relevant experience as Solution Architect on ServiceNow.
At least 5 years of experience working as ServiceNow Developer or Tech lead.
Knowledge and Technical Skills
Extensive experience as Solution Architect on ServiceNow platform.
Worked at least in 3 different ServiceNow engagements of which a minimum of 2 must relate to activities deployed in the HR domain (HR Workflow / Case Management / Employee Workflow).
Excellent knowledge of Enterprise Architect frameworks (e.g. TOGAF).
Excellent knowledge of Project Management frameworks including PM2 and/or SAFe.
Good knowledge of ServiceNow applications design.
Good knowledge of business process analysis.
Proficiency in Angular (latest versions build and automation tools) Bootstrap and Typescript.
Good knowledge of client-side development of complex applications involving: multi module Web Components.
Experience in Web security authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth Open ID Connect).
Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
Certifications and standards:
Following certificates & standards are required for the performance of tasks:
ServiceNow - Application Developer
ServiceNow Integration Hub
ServiceNow - ServiceNow Certified System Administrator Any additional ServiceNow certificates would be considered as an asset.
Personal Skills
Very good knowledge of ServiceNow and cloud-based Integrations.
Ability to perform proof of concepts (PoC) efficiently and fast.
Ability to give business and technical presentations.
Ability to apply high quality standards.
Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in cloud-based environments.
Very good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
Analysis and problem-solving skills.
Capability to write clear and structured technical documents.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Due to the particular nature of a large international organization such as the European Commission candidates should also have the following non-technical skills:
Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team.
Ability to participate in multilingual meetings.
Ability to work in multi-cultural environment on multiple large projects.
Excellent Team Player.
Ability to understand speak and write French and English (B2 level for both) will be an advantage.
High degree of discretion and integrity is required as the applications managed and maintained in DIGIT.A.3 contain personal and confidential data.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Analysis of the integration of different information systems.
Data analysis and data modelling.
Coordination of the implementation of the technical architecture.
Technical interface between the project leaders and the developers.
Production of software architecture documents.
Participation in technical working groups progress meetings and meetings with the users.
Assistance during relevant parts of testing analysis technical documentation deployment 2 evaluation and reporting.
Creating designs and blueprints of Cloud Architecture.
Review of the architecture of existing systems to migrate of existing system in the cloud.
Design and development of architecture components and building blocks using cloud components.
