Do you want to become part of a geotechnical environment in growth with a solid foothold in the Norwegian market We are now looking for experienced geotechnical engineers for our offices in Oslo Bergen Trondheim and Stavanger.

COWI is one of Norways largest consulting engineering companies in the field of complex infrastructure design buildings renewable energy water and environment. We have an extensive and experienced geotechnical team recognized for their skill and expertise especially in the development of model-based geotechnical design. The Norwegian geotechnical team consists of more than 25 employees while the entire COWI Group has over 200 geotechnical engineers internationally.
We seek motivated and skilled engineers who are interested in further professional development within the field of geotechnical engineering. The responsibilities of the role will be adapted to experience and motivation.
Opportunity for specialist expertise
We can offer exciting assignments and a great variety of projects and you will contribute with your expertise in projects like:
- Hamar Station detail design for BaneNor.
- Bod airport airside. Detail design for PEAB.
- Design and build Station Improvements Strmmen-Oslo-Ski for NCC Norge AS.
- Hamang-Brum-Smestad detail planning for Statnett.
- Charlottenlund church design an build contract with Hent.

In addition you have:
- A masters degree in geotechnical engineering
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
- Experience with geotechnical consulting and engineering. Including interpretations of geotechnical data planning and follow-up of geotechnical field investigations calculations and reporting support and training of other colleagues.
- Good practical and theoretical knowledge
- Good written and oral formulation skills both in Norwegian and English
Please note that some customers and projects may require security clearance at various levels necessitating security clearance for some projects or positions.
