Role Overview
As a Business Manager you will be at the heart of Fortil Canada growth strategy.
You will lead and develop your own business unit combining entrepreneurial spirit with technical expertise.
Your mission is to develop client relationships recruit and onboard talented engineers and technical experts manage a team of consultants and ensure the delivery of high-value engineering and consulting services.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities by prospecting potential clients within the engineering sector (e.g. automotive pharma aerospace railway and others ).
- Build maintain and expand strong client relationships.
- Negotiate and close contracts aligned with Fortils value-driven and performance-oriented approach.
- Human Resources
- Drive talent acquisition strategies to attract top engineering profiles.
- Recruit interview and match candidates with customers needs
- Onboard and manage a team of high-performing technical consultants across engineering domains.
- Support career development foster a positive team culture and ensure consultant satisfaction and retention.
- Delivery Management
- Ensure successful delivery of engineering and consulting services meeting quality timeline and budget expectations.
- Monitor performance profitability and client satisfaction.
- Implement efficient organizational practices aligned with Fortils operational model.
Profile
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering Business Economics or related field.
- Proven experience in business development recruitment and team management.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
