Job Description
Bay Area Hospital is looking for a Locum Non-Invasive Cardiologist. As the Medical Center for Oregon s South Coast Bay Area Hospital offers a comprehensive range of diagnostic and therapeutic services. We offer a great atmosphere and many growth opportunities for our employees.
Job Description:
- Accepting full-time (80 hours per pay period) 3 month commitment with the possibly of extension
- 8:00 am-5:00 pm clinic hours - 8 hours daily
- Outpatient Clinic-15-18 patients per day
- 4 physicians on staff
- The Non-Invasive Cardiologist is a licensed independent practitioner who manages cardiology patients
- EPIC EMR
- Specific/must do procedures
- Echo and non-nuclear stress test reads
- EKG and holter monitor reads
- Preferred:
- Trans-esophageal echocardiography
- Performing cardioversions
- 80% outpatient; 20% inpatient (call only)
OT and holidays are paid at 1.25x
Med Mal must be included in rates
OT is after 40 hours
Client is looking for Daily rates (8hours) between $3400-$3800
Work Week is Sunday - Saturday Conversion Caps MD is $25K APP is $20K
Requirement description :
- Board Certified Non-Invasive Cardiologist - REQUIRED
- Oregon license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
- Minimum 1 year of work experience as a Cardiology Physician - REQUIRED
- Clean background/no malpractice - REQUIRED
- Self Query - NPDB at time of presentation - REQUIRED
- CAQH login and password - REQUIRED AT TIME OF OFFER
- DEA - Verbal Confirmation REQUIRE AT NAME CLEAR
- Meets criteria for Medical Staff or Allied Health Professional membership and privilege

Weekend Requirements : Ability to work weekends occasionally
