Responsibilities
- Provide obstetric and gynecological care to patients
- Conduct thorough examinations and assessments
- Diagnose and treat various Ob/Gyn conditions
- Perform surgical procedures as needed
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Participate in patient education and counseling
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited institution
- Valid medical license to practice in the relevant state
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Ob/Gyn
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Level III Trauma
Schedule: 12 or 24-hour weekday or weekend call shifts 1:5 rotation
Setting: Inpatient
Delivery Volume: 65-80 per month
40% low-risk patients 60% high-risk patients
Duties: OB triage deliveries rounding circumcisions if able and
Required Procedures: Deliveries laceration repairs surgical gynecology FHR interpretation ultrasounds and amniocentesis
Support Staff: 4 MDs 1-2 CNMs and labor & delivery post-partum OR and ER staff
EMR: Cerner
Must be board-certified
