Responsibilities
- Perform radiological examinations and interpret results accurately
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and treatments
- Stay updated on advancements in radiology and imaging technologies
- Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Provide consultations and expert opinions as needed
- Support the training and development of junior staff as required
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Active medical license in the state of Florida
- Completion of a residency in Radiology
- Strong knowledge of radiological techniques and technologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Previous locum or contract experience is preferred
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30a-4:30p
No call or weekend shifts required
Cases: 100% IR
Required Procedures: Dialysis access venous access embolization hepatobiliary interventions percutaneous nephrostomy tubes biopsies drainages etc.
Spinal procedures and oncologic interventions are preferred but not required
Tumor board participation is required once per week during shift
Support Staff: PA
