Position: Finance Coordinator
Reporting to: Director Finance
Location: Toronto / Hybrid
Salary: $55000$65000
Status: Full-Time Permanent


About You

  • Confident managing payables reconciliations and financial data entry with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficient with spreadsheets and financial systems to organize and maintain accurate records
  • Reliable and highly organized able to manage priorities independently in a collaborative environment


Your Impact

As Finance Coordinator youll support the day-to-day financial operations that are critical to ability to deliver high-impact programs. From reconciling vendor statements to processing donations and tracking payroll data youll help maintain the financial integrity and operational flow of the organization.

This role requires strong organizational skills a proactive mindset and a deep commitment to accuracy and accountability in all aspects of finance.


Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable & Vendor Management

  • Monitor accounting inbox and process daily entries
  • Post and code vendor invoices ensuring proper HST treatment
  • Reconcile vendor statements and set up monthly accruals
  • Match invoices and receipts to POs
  • Prepare and schedule payments according to approvals
  • Maintain and update vendor records


Credit Card & Expense Management

  • Ensure timely submission of credit card transactions
  • Record and reconcile charges with appropriate documentation
  • Verify HST accuracy


Revenue & Donation Processing

  • Record bank entries in financial systems
  • Reconcile donation platform reports with deposits
  • Support grant agreement entries


Banking & Cash

  • Reconcile bank and donation platform accounts
  • Upload transactions and assist with cheque preparation and payment files


Reporting & Reconciliation

  • Prepare weekly cash reports
  • Support month- and year-end reconciliations


Payroll

  • Support accurate data entry for payroll processing


What Youll Bring

  • Post-secondary education in accounting finance or a related field
  • Experience supporting financial operations in a professional setting
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accuracy under pressure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
  • Familiarity with financial systems such as NetSuite and CRMs like Salesforce is an asset
  • Understanding of Canadian HST and charity regulations is a strong asset
