Job Description

Operations Coordinator

OCU Group are currently looking for a strong Coordinator to join our team covering a 12 month Maternity.

The purpose of the role is to support the smooth running of day-to-day business operations. The role involves coordinating administrative and operational activities ensuring compliance with company policies and supporting teams across the organisation to achieve business objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for operational queries providing guidance and support to internal teams.
  • Coordinate daily business operations including scheduling logistics and resource allocation.
  • Maintain accurate records reports and databases to ensure compliance with company and legal requirements.
  • Support the Operations Manager with planning process improvement and project delivery.
  • Liaise with external suppliers contractors and stakeholders to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Monitor KPIs service levels and operational performance escalating issues where necessary.
  • Assist in budget tracking invoice processing and procurement activities.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety GDPR and other regulatory requirements.
  • Provide administrative support including preparing reports presentations and correspondence.

Skills and experience:

Essential:

  • Previous experience in an administrative coordination or operations support role.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook PowerPoint).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of compliance requirements relevant to the industry.
  • Familiarity with project management tools or CRM systems.
