Job Summary
We re leading a confidential search for a BIM Coordinator to join an established construction company. See below for details additional information will be provided on initial call with a recruiter.
Job Summary:
Under the direction of the BIM Manager the BIM Coordinator supports the work of the preconstruction department by plan design and use of the most up-to-date BIM software.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- The ability to work in a variety of large-scale construction environments including commercial educational and healthcare projects.
- Learn and demonstrate proficiency in BIM software such as Revit Navisworks Manage BIM 360 Assemble etc.
- Works with BIM Manager clients Design Teams and subcontractors during pre-construction and construction phase to help coordinate and build 3D models 2D Shop Drawings As-Built and Submittal drawings.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Adapts to changes in the work environment; manages competing demands; changes approach or method to best fit the situation.
- Ability to read and understand plan drawings specs and other project requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to work in BIM software (Revit Navisworks Manage BIM 360 Assemble
- AutoCAD etc.)
- Strong collaborative and organizational skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- The ability to balance multiple projects at a time.
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong proficiency in visualizing the constructability of various projects.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor s degree in Virtual Design and Construction Construction Management or related field
- 1 to 3 years experience in BIM focused work.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to travel to various locations for company affairs.
