Job Description

Role Definition

Primary financial and accounting support for a focus facility subsidiary or business unit team; providing business analysis cost analysis financial counsel and strategic planning/analysis support to the facility Management Team.

Responsibilities

Assist with business unit planning for upper level management including facility manager business unit manager

Cost and investment analysis for upper level management (i.e. plant rates ROI Pricing and Make/Buy studies).

Involved in consensus decision-making regarding the facility and/or business being supported.

Responsible for routine monthly reporting including profit center results and Rolling Business Management (RBM) as well as annual business processes including the business plan and executive reviews.

Academic and professional experience.

CA / CMA or any other equivalent degree from reputed institute / university.

7 year professional experience.

Experience of large multinational manufacturing organisation preferrable

Ensures attention to the detail and dependencies of existing departmental-level plans.

Ensures the planning process is integrated with the overall business plan.

Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

Directs others work with financial and cash flow ratios and trend analyses.

Financial Forecasting and Modelling:

Knowledge of processes tools and techniques of financial forecasting and modelling; ability to explore and evaluate alternative financial scenarios and results.
Level Working Knowledge:

Explains the fundamentals of financial forecasting and modelling.

Resolves common forecasting problems in the application of modelling.

Uses basic features and facilities of a specific modelling tool.

Produces and reports the results of a forecast model to management.

Gathers information necessary to run a forecasting model.
