Job Description
Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Emergency Medicine in Bismarck ND
Join our dynamic healthcare team at a premier Level II Trauma Center located in Bismarck North Dakota. As part of a supportive environment you will deliver exceptional emergency medical care in a facility equipped with advanced technology and a commitment to patient-centered service. We are looking for skilled emergency medicine physicians to provide coverage during specified dates in a fast-paced collaborative setting.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency medical care for patients including adult and pediatric resuscitation.
- Perform critical procedures such as intubation chest tube insertion central line placement and procedural sedation.
- Conduct OB/GYN procedures and deliveries as required.
- Utilize the EPIC EMR system for patient documentation.
- Manage patient volume of approximately 1.4 patients per hour.
- Work flexible shifts with a focus on Monday to Friday coverage from 8:00 AM 5:00 PM.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM required).
- Current certifications in PALS ATLS and ACLS.
- Active North Dakota medical license.
- Current DEA Registration.
License & Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified - ABEM required.
- PALS ATLS ACLS certifications required.
- Active North Dakota license required.
- DEA Registration is mandatory.
